Sunday Healing Circle
Through the years I have been on my spiritual path and meeting friends on forums like this one I have enjoyed been a part of several groups that join together to send healing at a set time each week. Sometimes it can be hard to make the time to sit down, breathe, and then send healing to others. I miss having the set time when I would meet with these friends so have decided to set a new one up.
Finding a time that is suitable for most people can be very difficult - what with differing time zones and varying work patterns. However I think perhaps a Sunday evening at 8pm (GMT) may be possible for most people. If you would be interested in joining in with this group healing or would just like to request some healing from the participants then leave me a message here.

Re: Sunday Healing Circle
Hi Solomon,
glad you like the idea of joining us. We have a couple of people from another forum I post on interested in joining and I am planning on posting more about it this coming week on rootsthatheal.com
Basically all you need to do is sit down at 8pm on a Sunday evening, calm you mind in whatever way you usually do and then send out love and healing to the world. This may mean you light a candle and focus on spreading light to the entire world or closing your eyes and picturing people you care for in your mind and seeing yourself give them a hug. It might even mean humming or chanting and holding loving or healing intentions, or praying to God, the Angels or Faeries or Spirits or whatever you believe in to bring health, happiness or whatever people desire or need. There really is no right or wrong way to do it...
When we used to do this on this other forum I was a member of we would join in online chat and have a list of people who wanted healing and then we'd all close our eyes for 5 minutes and send reiki healing to this person. When I did it with a different online group we had a list of names and then a few topics like "the world", "the children of the third world countries" or "people about to take exams" and we would go offline and sit for half an hour to an hour (whatever felt right for each individual) and send out healing however we felt fit. Sometimes I would sing, sometimes I would speak to the Angels, sometimes I would imagine myself holding the world between my hands and giving it a hug... it doesn't matter so long as the intention to heal is set and you believe what you are doing is making a difference...
The idea behind it is that if we all sit down around the same time and send out healing and loving energy there will be a greater effect - almost like singing in a choir has a beautiful, harmonised and powerful sound that cannot be achieved by one voice alone.
For T and me, Sunday night healing involves lighting some candles, sitting down together in silence and holding the people we love, and the people who have requested healing in our heart and minds and sending out reiki energy as well as loving thoughts.
As I say, I shall put together more about this, I hope, this week and post in the website (when I say I hope I mean my mum is coming to stay and we are packing ready to move house so although I have the intention to write it this week I may not write as much as I had hoped depending on how well the packing goes!)
I hope this makes sense, any questions simply ask

Re: Sunday Healing Circle
That sounds like a fun thing to do. I think I'll light some candles and burn some essential oils. And finding an ideal to think about shouldn't be too hard.
